I am a wedding planner for 12 years. The way we talk about weddings has to stop. We are putting so much focus on material things when it comes to weddings. Can you think back to a time when you were getting engaged? Did anybody ask you about your engagement ring, pictures on Facebook, the dress, suit, wedding venue, or the decorations? You know when you were getting engaged, that was all anyone seemed to care about. Your partnership, vows are your commitment to stand by and love another person for the rest of your life. We should all stop putting all this pressure on the bride and groom. We should help them enjoy the ceremony with the best of their heart and happiness. Then, no one has to care about how they look because it is going to be perfect. Isn't that we all wish for our loved ones to get engaged for once and for all? If everyone is happy at the engagement or wedding, the pictures and videos are bound to reflect that emotion to the fullest.
