Since he was a young boy, Scott's dad encouraged his interest in photography but it was in Alaska that his talent got its wings. Few places on earth could have provided better inspiration for Scott's growing enthusiasm for capturing the world around him through the lens of a camera. Scott's ability to see things from a unique perspective is not limited to the view from behind a camera. An aeronautical engineering student at Embry-Riddle University in Prescott, Ariz., Scott also is fulfilling a three-semester internship commitment at NASA, in Houston, Texas. When he is not in Alaska, Arizona, or working at NASA, Scott usually can be found with his family and friends in Austin, Texas.
