Wendy Erickson is a photographer, writer and teacher. Born and raised in New Jersey, she learned photography at the age of 13 when her father bought her a 35mm camera. She holds BA and MFA Degrees in photography and studio art. Her photographs and writings have been widely exhibited and published in numerous books, articles and magazines. Much of her fine art photography revolves around the complex relationships of people, animals and nature. As a gardener she is deeply connected to the land. Erickson lives with her husband and a small menagerie of animals in suburban NJ. She dreams someday of owning a farm in the country.
