    About the Book

    Edit

"Native American Indian Pow Wow 2025", illustrates numerous U.S. Indigenous Nations, illustrating their dances which honor their heritage and culture, past and present.

I have felt a feeling of love and respect for the Indigenous Tribes of America since I was a 4th grader, when I learned all about the past Tribal Nations and their deep love and respect for the land and wildlife that they shared the planet with before Europeans stole their lands and put the Indigenous Tribal Nations on Reservations where they barely survived. Several Tribal Nations contracted diseases brought by the Europeans, which wiped out entire Tribal Nations.

Those Native Indians that did survive, were converted to Christianity, though there are Tribal Members that have kept their traditions and stories of old alive, and in the 21st century some Tribal members are reclaiming some of their stolen lands, that they have fought for sine the 1800's.
