About the Book
In the post-holiday winter, life slows down.
The occasional heavy snowstorm allows us to neglect our ordinary duties and brings different ones. We can take a real holiday - sled in the park at dinnertime, visit neighborhood shrines, make art. We count our visitors by the number of boots left at the door.
In this small book of black-and-white photos, the author playfully pairs wintery images, allowing the viewer to join in the process of photographic observation and discovery.
