About the Book
In September of 2008, I spent three incredible days aboard a homemade barge built by New York artist Kellam Clark using the wooden planks from the fence in his mother's front yard and PVC pipes. His plan was to sail the entire length of the Susquehanna River. These are some of the photographs from that time.

About the Creator
Mike Fleming

The modern artist is both profound and genuine. The modern artist is not an artist. Unless he is by accident. It's not your fault if you're the modern artist. Unless it is. This is also purely accidental. Am I to imply that I am in fact the very modern artist I define? No. But Mike Fleming is. Who is Mike Fleming you ask??? Well, if you don't know by now, that makes perfect sense. The modern artist is not famous. If you do know who he is you are quite fortunate. Albeit accidentally fortunate. - Jon Barthmus
