About the Book
When I moved to Hamilton a few years ago, I was surprised by the amount of cool vintage storefronts as well as the personality of this amazing city.
Barton Street is testament to this because although it has suffered greatly against decades of decline, its beauty still resonates in humbled buildings and signs that echo times of a brighter past. The starkness of a seemingly grim reality set amidst the ruins of a once great street is captured in this, my personal homage to an important part of Hamilton’s heritage.
