About the Book
Our dear, sweet, brave and majestic pelican is in danger. Just off the endangered species list last November, the Louisiana brown pelican is now in the fight of its life against the BP oil catastrophe. Woven into our landscape from City Park to Queen Bess Island, our precious state bird needs our help. My new charity book "Love Pelicans' features 40 color photographs of these beautiful birds in their habitat. All of the profits will go directly to the International Bird Rescue Research Center, http://www.ibrrc.org/, the heroic folks rescuing, rehabing and releasing these vulnerable birds back into nature. Please help by ordering this little 7-inch keepsake book that will make a big difference. Not too soon for early Christmas shopping!
