Hawk lives in the mountains in Northern California. This is her first book. It took ten years to complete. Mostly, it sat in a drawer, making noise, beckoning to be completed… someday. Hawk was a counselor for twenty years in Bloomington, IN and Northern California. Her experience includes working in treatment centers, facilitating workshops and a private practice helping people to deal with dependency, addiction issues and family counseling.
