About the Book
""EcoBook Challenge-The Exhibit is a catalog of the result of a competition to create book art from recycled and repurposed materials.
Early in 2011 residents of Fayette Co. Kentucky were challelnged to create a treasure, in book format, from materials that they habitually throw away. The resulting books demonstrate a wealth of imagination and creativity.
In this juried competion 36 books were chosen by internationally know book artist, Emily Martin, to be included in the exhibit.
The EcoBook Challenge was made possible by an EcoArt Grant from LFUCG, Dept of Enviormental Quality.
