About the Book
Tea, Cider & The Charleston is the story of an eccentric, teenaged, homosexual named Daniel John Dickson. Who lives in the former steel town of Consett in County Durham, England.
This book opens the door to his world which, for the most part, is stuck in the early/mid 20th century. Daniel is a rather heavy drinker, drinking almost everyday, but despite this deny’s claims that he may be an alcoholic. Daniel has a boyfriend as well as large amount of friends who he surrounds himself with and is very much loved by. He is somewhat of a local celebrity in Consett and Newcastle-Upon-Tyne being known to, or recognised, by a lot of people.
