About the Book
MUSEO is a personal collection of over 90 black and white photographic studies of museum artefacts, architecture and related images taken around Europe from 2001 to 2005. All images were photographed by a 50mm standard lens in 35mm film format. Significantly, it followed a transition of visual style which I greatly sought, after years photographing travel documentary images, and I found a new discipline and visual signature which has occupied me ever since. I owe this greatly to Ralph Gibson!
explorenation.net equals travel photography, publishing, exhibition, photography education and workshops. Steven has initiated the KL Photoawards in 2009 for Contemporary Portraiture (see www.klphotoawards.com). His personal works are mainly documentary and fineart in nature, often mixing travel photography with strong abstract visuals. Museo is his first Blurb printed book.
