My name is Mandy Sloan. I'm a singer/songwriter, painter, poet, and currently a children's book writer. I write and illustrate my stories, and have a passion for art and people. I wish to use my art to inspire, and send a little inspiration to someone's way. Life is about people, art, freedom, joy, adventure, and creation so I wish to bring about all of that in every one of my art pieces. My first book happens to be about an umbrella tree and the company of a little girl who happens to sneeze too much. It's a story of friendship, courage, and learning to grow from another.
