Looking at two urban environments: Nottingham (United Kingdom) and Timisoara (Romania), this book is a holistic exploration of place centred on urban ruins as architectural links between past and present. Using traces of collective experiences or memories associated with them, I explore relationships and ongoing transformations within the city.
