About the Book
The idea behind the Coffee Flavour project — ongoing since 2009 — was inspired by Jim Jarmusch’s film Coffee and Cigarettes. This photographic series presents not simply portraits of people, but portraits of personalities. It captures human thoughts and the quiet moments in which they arise — moments of stillness, reflection, and inner dialogue.
Time spent with a cup of coffee is time to focus and clear the mind, to settle in and prepare for the day. It is, at once, a way to ground yourself and to momentarily drift away from reality. A chance to slow down, recharge, and reconnect — that’s the essence of Coffee Flavour.
