Rugby School, one of the oldest and greatest schools in the world just turned 450 years old! The big serious book for grown-ups 'From Elizabeth to Elizabeth' which chronicles Rugby's 450-years history is about to hit the bookstores. But what about the young readers?

No, they are not overlooked! 'Tommy the Learned Cat goes to Rugby: Letters from the Boarding School' follows the adventures of Tommy the Learned Cat and his favourite human Annee Brown as they embark on their boarding life in Tudor House in of the most exciting places to live and study! Rugby School, here we come! And of course, Happy Birthday, Rugby School!

If you thought that the town of Rugby was only famous for inventing the game of Rugby, you are mistaken. From jet engine, to the first transatlantic call at Rugby Radio Station a hundred years ago, to Dr. Thomas Arnold, the reformer of English public education, to Lewis Carol and Rupert Brooke, to the first English Boarding School novel (no, it wasn't Harry Potter), the bustling midlands town has a rich history which is full of fascinating facts and important names! And who is better at telling the story then Tommy the Learned Cat, a very clever cat who is very excited to share his tales with children of all ages.

    Julie Fox
    London, England

Julie G. Fox is an author and the founder of Clever Fox Press. Julie's first book 'Goodbye, Emma' told the story of a boy. This book (which is still Julie's bestseller!) Was based on a true story as Julie and her brothers were refugees themselves. The proceeds from the sale of 'Goodbye, Emma' as well as all other books Julie has been donated to charities. The first hundred copies of the 'Goodbye, Emma' book were shipped to refugee camps in Greece, Canada and Germany. After 'Goodbye, Emma' came out Julie felt that she had too many stories locked up in her head, and these stories had to somehow reach more children. She decided to connect with artists, illustrators and writers in the countries, troubled by wars and economic problems, to encourage those talented and creative individuals who lacked a platform for their difficult homelands. Clever Fox Press which was founded by Julie in the early 2016 has been written and produced 20 more books with more projects on the way.
