June 2004 saw the Bevan family head off to the shabby chic city of Venice.



We stayed in an excellent campsite on the main land, edged by a fantastic beach, with cafes and excellent swimming opportunities.



We enjoyed the boat travel into the city and exploring the myriad of lanes and canals.



Murano, with its glass blowers, and Burano, with its multi coloured houses, were lovely islands we visited from our base at Punta Sabbioni.
