The first edition of "Return to an Island" was published in July 2017. This 2nd Edition is updated and expanded, whilst retaining all the content of the first edition. It is a compilation of poetry and photography which is wide ranging in style and content - at times light-hearted and a bit quirky and at other times the poems reflect on the human condition and the fragility of our planet.

I have been involved in club photography and exhibitions for over 45 years. I was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society in 2000 in the Printing category and EFIAP/platinum in 2011. For the past 25 years I have been a member of Wrekin Arts Photographic Club in Wellington,Shropshire and for three years I served the club as Chairman. I have lectured and judged extensively throughout Britain and have regularly entered open exhibitions in Britain and overseas. I nave published five Blurb books, three in the Far Country Photography series and two which combine my photography and poetry entitled "Return to an Island" and "Sing to me of Luskentyre". It is the combination of photography and poetry that I intend to develop for the foreseeable future.
