Mexico has had a long love affair with Volkswagons, especially the bugs. It is not unusual to see cars on the street from every era, from the 50's on. There can be cars held together by a prayer, cars waiting for more parts to be resurrected, cars immaculately maintained, or cars with wonderful custom modifications. The photographer photographed these vehicles between 2015 and 2017, which makes some of these cars 30-50 years old and still on the street.
