    Matthew's Engineering career started as a boy in a Glasgow Engineering Workshop in Glasgow where the working conditions were a bit of an eye opener! Later his work in the cane sugar business took him to North, Central and South America and east to Thailand, where he faced new cultures, differing world views, and not a few challenges. His experience in the Refugee Camps on the Thailand / Cambodian border started a series of events that would lead him to World Mission in Africa and beyond, and to some dangerous and remote places.
