    About the Ebook

This book is about the southern end of Santorini. Its towns and its people. It is much more traditional in its way of life. If there is a religious festival, you find it more often than not, down south. Do you want to see donkeys being used in everyday life as a form of transport, not just for the tourists? Head south. Where do the people live when all the hotels close for the winter? Right, the south.

The southern end of the island is not just the more traditional part of Santorini, but also where some of the most interesting people live. I have included a series of portraits of some of the characters, without whom southern Santorini would be a poorer place.

Join me in a journey from Pirgos to Perissa. May it inspire you to spend a little more time on my end of the island.
