"Speyside Variety" tries to capture the essence of one of Scotland's major whisky regions. The first part shows the Speyside landscape and some of the different distilleries from outside.

The second part looks inside distilleries, following the process and displaying some of the differences that exist. Both the cooperage and the festival are also covered.

The book is the second in a series about Scottish whisky regions, each to be photographed at a different season. The first was "Waters of Islay" which was shot in late autumn, emphasizing the somewhat strong/rough character of the Islay malts.

"Speyside Variety" was shot in spring, in accordance with the somewhat more differentiated and more lovely character of the Speyside malts and blended whiskies.

As the book is print on demand, alterations can be made with little or no extra cost.
