Heather Cartwright is a writer, businesswoman and philanthropist supporting research for the cure of heritable cardiac diseases at the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre and SickKids in Toronto. She volunteers her time with The Canadian SADS Foundation by educating athletes, coaches and parents on the early warning signs of sudden cardiac death. She is also a long time supporter of the Western University Rowing Team and has been Deputy Co-Chair of Western's Athletic Capital Campaign. Previously Heather spent 10 years in new media sales and marketing and later had a 10 year career as a professional NCCP Level 4 Rowing Coach at Princeton, Boston University and Harvard. She is currently President of Power Ten Investments Ltd, and is writing a young adult novel.
