Tales in a Box is a collection of photographic tales about "our little secrets we choose not to be aware of". This colorful photo book deals with obsessions, frustrations, disorders and stereotypes of the everyday life, the 'must be' thin, gorgeous, in style, fast,brilliant, religious, and so on using irony as a magic wound that heals the scars.
Matteo is an Award Winning Photographer who lives and works in New York City. Born in Italy, Matteo studied Photography in Milan and New York. He has exhibited at: Palazzo della Triennale, Milano * Palazzo delle Esposizioni, Roma * Natural History Museum,Milano * Ag Art Space, New York * Williamsburg Art and Historical Center, Brooklyn NY * IED – (2001 Biennale di Venezia - IED Project), Milano * School of Visual Art, New York * To B.Art - Gustavia - Saint Barths, French Virgin Islands * Universita’ del Design - Perugia - Italia. The 2009 Honorable Mention at the International Photography Awards is among Matteo's many achievements in Italy. in 2004 Kodak interviewed him as one of the top emerging talents in photography and featured him on ProPass Magazine. Matteo has photographed known faces as Lance Bass, Margaret Cho, Grammy winner Joan Osborne, activist Eve Ensler, actress Heather Jurgensen.
