About the Book
A photographer's journal of his 3-week stay in the wilderness of the dune shacks at the Cape Cod National Seashore on the Atlantic coast of Massachusetts without electricity or modern conveniences. Images include the native white tailed deer, wild cranberries and blueberries, nighttime constellations, and the exquisite variety of sunrises and sunsets.
A companion CD of sounds "Sounds from the Cape Cod National Seashore is available as Part 11 of the Cape Cod Soundscapes Series at iTunes. Professional photographer Christopher Seufert leads photography tours throughout the wilds of Cape Cod and he is also the author of Cape Cod & Islands Reflections (Schiffer, 2010) and The Cape Cod National Seashore: A Photographic Adventure & Guide (Schiffer, 2012). His studio and walk-in gallery are based in Chatham, where he lives with his wife and three children.
