About the Book
The fascination with windows came from my love of old, dilapidated barns and other buildings. The distortion in the panes, dirt on the glass, and missing windows make reflections very interesting. Then there's what can be seen through the window into the room and sometimes out the other side. I want to know what's inside, especially if it's dark.
I am often surprised what is printed. Sometimes I don't notice something when I am taking the picture, then when I crop, I find gold. It's like being on a treasure hunt and I might adjust light and contrast or sharpen the image to see even more.
The images excite me and I cannot wait to share with others.

I am an artist, photographer, and writer specializing in charcoal landscape drawings, notecards, and poetry. I have been a creative individual all my life with some of my earliest recollections being the making of paper dolls and designing clothing for them. As I’ve grown, I’ve dabbled in many mediums as colors, patterns, and textures always fascinate me. Throughout the years, I’ve taken occasional art courses when time and money have allowed; drawing, oils, photography, and charcoal. I experiment a lot. I’ve also taken workshops in poetry, creative writing, and Proprioceptive writing. I’ve published three books of poetry.
