"Giancarlo" is the fourth book of the italian artist azt.
It features more than 100 images from the series "Giancarlo" taken in 2009 and 2010, with many shots never seen before.
Using the classical subject and language of male nude photographic portraiture, the book is conceived as a meditation on death through images of beauty and life, involving important related themes such as sex, impermanence, memory, time, melancholy and the meaning itself of making pictures and art in our times.
The book includes frontal nude pictures and sexual explicit contents suitable for an adult (18+) audience.

azt is an italian visual artist active since 2004.
His first works (performances and installations) were made in public spaces without official permission; afterwards he developed a growing interest in photography preferring the aspects of narration and portraiture, especially in the field of male nude.
