This book shows an exhibit in honor of Lee Liebmann, an 86-year-old resident of Teaneck, NJ who left Nazi Germany just weeks before Kristallnacht. The exhibit feature works by Lee Liebmann’s daughter-in-law Gerda Liebmann, a Swiss-born artist whose work has been displayed in galleries worldwide. These works offer a visually compelling narrative of Mr. Liebmann’s life-journey, which began in the town of Limburg where his father was a horse dealer and brought him to London during World War II before he came to the United States in 1946.
