About the Book
This is the book I have been trying to put together for many years.
It is the seventh (eighth?) time I have done it, each time improving the content and visuals to my satisfaction. I actually dumped a very early version into my computer wastebasket! All you computer people have been there, haven’t you? I am a graphic designer, trained in hot-metal years ago, who for the sake of self-preservation, embraced computer technology after spending many years on the drawing board.
I wanted to produce a book that people would like to own, to collect or give to someone as an extra special gift. A poetry book that is aesthetically pleasing. A book of contrasts in context and illustration. Ultimately, this is a book for my children, a glimpse into my life.
