About the Creator
Kathryn Coffey
San Francisco, CA
I am a San Francisco resident and amateur photographer. I believe deeply in the magic and power of the human-animal bond. Seeing these beautiful and creative - and profoundly moving - signs inspired me to memorialize and honor them in a photo essay. I am a volunteer with the SF/SPCA's animal assisted therapy program (http://www.sfspca.org/programs-services/animal-assisted-therapy) and on the Advisory Committee for VET SOS (www.vetsos.org).
