UNTITLED is a compilation of unplanned and unposed images taken in recent years.
I am always on the hunt for that moment of mystery, surprise or humor in my everyday life. Lately I have sought images that hint to a larger story, like a publicity still from some forgotten movie. These fragments of fictional stories are taken from the real world in an odd coupling of my unconscious, my intentions, and chance.
When titles for individual photos are requested, I usually label them "untitled." I do not want words to effect the viewers' responses to what they see. My goal is to stimulate imagined stories rather than documenting the real world

I’ve worked as a psychiatrist for the last forty years. 7 years ago I became fascinated by the possibilities of photography, taught myself, and now rarely go anywhere without a camera. My main direction has been candid photography shot in public spaces. I have had my images published in several street photography books. In 2011 a series of my photographs was exhibited at the Format Festival in England. My photography book 'Untitled' was also selected to be shown at Format 11. I recently won two international competitions: the year long Street Photography Now Project competition and the Reality Remade Street Photography competition.

Great collection of photos, I really enjoyed the preview. Some great observations, some great (deserved!) luck too ;) I especially loved how you played with reflections and multiple plans... Well done!

Great work jack! The street scenes were captured with amazing precision.
These candid shots exhibit the quality of a controlled studio environment!
I ordered the book and hope that you are planning a sequel.

Wonderful book, full of visual surreal energy, mystery and enigma.. Sometimes sad, sometimes funny, but always a storyteller.
Street photography is too narrow definition for this - it is visual magical realism.
Really the case when the images are coming from the word "imaginative". Cannot recommend more!

I‘m always looking for good books, especially street photography, but haven‘t bought a lot recently, because there is always some good work, but often too many pictures I can‘t connect to, so for me not enough to buy a book. Like a CD were you like just two songs. But this book is extraordinary. I would buy it directly - if I would n‘t own it already - and have a great day, a great week and will have a great month studying it.
So much better to see the photographs on paper, visual differently than just on the screen. While opening page for page I saw details I had n‘t seen before. Like photodocs said - there is one fav after the other. And that over seventy times.vebys
