About the Book
This book is an exploration of the effects of Stigma towards
people with HIV. I have interviewed ten people and gained
some insight on their struggles but also their celebrations
of life. Life should not be all about the bad things that
happen but rather the celebrations we live. These men are
living proof it is possible. Yes it is challenging and life is
challenging but it’s about avoiding the negatives in life and
taking charge. This is a coffee table book with the intent to break down some of the Stimga of HIV for those living with the disease.

I am a recent graduate of Ryerson Universities Fashion Communications program. Throughout the program I chose to explore photography and decided to create a coffee table book where I interviewed and photographed ten people with HIV in hopes to diminish some of the Stigma's they have to overcome. Photography mixed with the interviews gives an interesting perspective and outlook and helps the viewer gain the insight I intended. I am hoping to continue this through my life and gain a broader representation as time evolves. This will be my life project.
