I took the photographs in this book at the Tremanskärr nature reserve in Espoo, Finland. There are many different swamp types to explore, and different kinds of forests, and the Kurkijärvi lake as well. There is a story that the name Tremanskärr refers to three Russian men who either drowned or were buried in the bog; but this is just a legend. In any case, this is a place worth visiting, and for taking photographs. In this photo book I have tried to depict a typical late summer (or early Autumn) day, such a day which everyone can experience at Tremanskärr.
