About the Book
This book is the result of 25 years of research on Gus, his children and his wife's Risner Family in the Choctaw Nation. After twenty-five year I still had no answers as to where Gus had come into the country or who his German Family was. He arrived in 1862 according to his 1920 Census record. From that time until 2012, I had found nothing to prove who he actually was. His name was Gus - Gus Wiler, but the surprise ending is that he was not a Wiler at all.
