About the Book
The urban landscape presents itself as a natural backdrop and as my subject. Photography is the medium that allows me to express my inner sensibilities. As as photographer, I am both voyeur and artist
Among the steal, the metal, the brownstone and glass that uniquely marry the historic to the modern and create this diverse urban setting and beneath layers of weathered and worn asphalt are the cobblestone stone streets of yesteryear. The streets tell a story of early 18 century settlers in horse-drawn carriages. Railway tracks tell tales of by-gone commerce at industrial factories, castles, warehouses and bakeries, while trolley cars transported the populous, providing the pulse of Long Island City, Queens… New York.
