About the Book
Given the backdrop of an ever increasing population and corresponding demand for living space, the knowledge of efficient, sustainable, and economical materials and building techniques has become vitally important.
This book aims to describe, illustrate, and formalize some of the fundamental properties of a low-cost construction technique for building brick vaults without any use of framework or additional reinforcements whatsoever. These brick vaults, made only out of several pieces of clay, provide an economical, sustainable and aesthetical solution to the current housing problem.
