About the Creator
Norah Zuniga Shaw is an artist and scholar focusing on choreographic ideas as the locus for interdisciplinary and intercultural creativity. A choreographer by training, she is known for her large-scale media arts collaborations with choreographers William Forsythe, Bebe Miller, Thomas Hauert, and animator Maria Palazzi integrating art and science research. Since 2004, she has been director for dance and technology at The Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design of The Ohio State University. She teaches and presents her work internationally. Recent venues include the Chicago Humanities Festival, Spring Dance Utrecht, Sadler's Well's London, Wyoming Gallery NYC, Buda Kortrijk, Hebbel Theater Berlin, Goethe Institute Tokyo, Bangalore, and Ankara, and SIGGRAPH.
