A collection of my recent landscapes — impressions based on dramatic and changing weather.
The original watercolor collages are assembled from my own handpainted paper.
I am an Edmonds, Washington artist and a long-time resident of the Puget Sound area. I received my Associate of Art certificate from the Burnley School of Art in Seattle, studying under such notable Northwest artists as Jess Cauthorn, William Cumming, Fred Griffin and Dick Brown. In recent years I have been working in collage, handpainting large pieces of paper with watercolors, which I cut up and reassemble into dramatic impressionistic landscapes.
