About the Book
In January of 2014, I took a trip to the Caribbean island of Bonaire for a two week course in marine ecology during my undergraduate studies at DePauw University. Knowing little about the island prior to my arrival, I documented my time there through the lens of an inquisitive visitor and found myself enamored by Bonaire’s many peculiarities, from its complex creole language to its large population of wild goats and donkeys. Through this photo documentary I invite you to join me on this journey, and together we’ll discover the beauty and many curiosities that Bonaire holds. You’re on vacation now, and your only limitation here is the amount of remaining oxygen in your scuba tank. Bon Bini Na Bonaire.
