    About the Book

    Edit

This book brings together a small sample of the hundreds of fractal images that have been rendered by me over the last few years. As an artist raised in the traditions of artist books, printmaking, drawing and photography, the integration of automated image generation processes into my work was not a comfortable fit at first. I came to this through procedural landscape rendering where the random values generated in the computation of the fractal provided an endless variety of variables in the forms generated. The natural progression to fractal image generation and data processing was a fairly logical step from here. I guess its the element of surprise I like the most.
