About the Book
Angela Mahler created this book in about 1965, to reflect her view of the way people around her lived and simply to share things which she enjoyed drawing. It was a gift to Jonathan Marrow, whom she married in 1967.
Angela and Jonathan had three children. This production of her work is dedicated to their children, Angela's grandchildren.
Angela was born in 1943 and sadly died in 1976. She worked as an art teacher and illustrator in England and also in Nigeria and Botswana. She also traveled widely in Europe.

About the Creator
Jonathan Marrow
The Wirral, England
Worked as a young doctor as a Government Medical Officer in Botswana. Spent most of my career caring for patients brought to hospital as emergencies. My design portfolio includes the preparation of material for lecture presentations and posters, internal publication of volumes of clinical guidelines and the production of family greetings cards over many years, using a wide variety of techniques. More recently I have held a brief to create and reinforce a brand image for the Royal College of Emergency Medicine. Now retired from clinical work, much of my time is spent organising and copying photographs, writings and art work collected over the years.
