About the Book
All pictures taken within a two day period on the A4 highway between Nova Gorica, Slovenia, and Milan, a road that passes through Venice, Padua and Verona as it heads across northern Italy, narrowing down to two lanes in rural areas and expanding to four in the major urban sprawls. Trucks from everywhere in Europe thunder down the right lanes, and crazy, suicidal idiots tailgate each other at speeds exceeding 90 miles an hour on the left. Along the way are stunning gas stations and rest stops teeming with food, drink and a variety of amenities that put their American counterparts to shame.
