The following pages contain drawings I completed in the past few months during trips around Columbus, Ohio. They include North Market, Grant Hospital, the BalletMet Dance Studio, Polaris shopping center, The MoJoe Cafe, the main bus stop hub, the Columbus Metropolitan Library, the OSU Student Union, the Franklin Park Conservatory, and more! The goal was to improve my ability to draw from REAL, not still, life. To quickly and accurately capture motion as well as emotion of the people I saw, and transform them from people on the street to "characters." I used to consider this subject and style one of my weaknesses, but I now feel more confident. I hope you will enjoy the results of my effort.
