This book started out as a gift for my wife containing our favorite shots from the 2007 Albuquerque Hot Air Balloon Fiesta in New Mexico. I was struck by the fabulous colors and I thought perhaps others would enjoy the colorful air as well.

I have dabbled in photography at various levels for more years than I care to think. I started out with 35mm film and then moved to 6 x 4.5 cm for weddings. I ultimately quit altogether when it quit being fun. We moved to Arizona and I got my first digital. It was fun again. I am still having fun. I don't do weddings or anything like that. I shoot what I want to shoot, not what someone else wants me to shoot.
