About the Book
In this new photo series, Jesús Manuel Mena Garza focuses on the community of Wichita Falls, Texas. His black and white images were captured in 2012 and 2013. Unsentimental, Garza examined decaying infrastructure, wide-open landscapes and entrenched inequality. While many communities in Texas are enjoying an economic and population boom, this remote Texoma town has been left far behind.
