This book of photography was made as a thank you to the photographer's aunt and uncle for their love and support. It is a compilation of images taken during Scott's professional photography career to date.
Cydney knew she wanted to be a photojournalist the instant she saw Alfred Eisenstadt's 'The Dragon is Slain.' She has been a photographer for The Cleveland Plain Dealer, The Evansville Courier and Press, The Citizen in Auburn, New York, and The Palm Beach Post in West Palm Beach, Florida. She has been awarded the National Press Photographers Association's MNCC Photographer of the Year, and has also received accolades from Photographer of the Year International (POYi) and New York AP. Her work has been chosen for the juried annual exhibit for the NPPA Women's Conferences, and she was chosen to participate in the distinguished Eddie Adams Barnstorm 11 Workshop. Since returning to the Boston area, she has discovered a passion for documenting birth.
Cydney prides herself on having a subtle presence while capturing the decisive moment. With exception to posed portraits, she shoots in a documentary style and works with available light.
