We are a couple with two boys (ages 7 and 5) living in Seattle, Washington and have fallen in love with the natural beauty of the area and enjoy exploring the many beautiful sites around Washington state since 2008. Many friends around us that had just moved into the area or otherwise had plans to visit asked us for advice on where to go and what to do to enjoy their time here in full. This made us think that our experience could be helpful to other people like us - especially families with young kids that are looking for short (or long) kid-friendly trips and activities in the area.
