I was born in Nairobi, Kenya in 1950 of Seychelles parents.
I left Kenya at the age of 18, and went to live with my uncle and aunt in Crayford, Kent.
After a full career in the British Army (Royal Engineers) I joined Her Majesty's Prison Service and served as a prison officer at HMP Littlehey in Huntingdon, UK.
It was at this time I undertook a creative writing course/proofreading course with Chapter House.
My other hobbies include playing music (harmonica/guitar. I love country music and blues) , writing poetry, walking and kayaking...the odd gin and tonic goes down well too.
Pam, my gorgeous very patient wife, and I have been living in Spain since 2007 when I retired from HMP.
Thanks for reading this...
