About

Popi Aroniada was born in Limeri, Evrytania, Greece in 1961. Since her early teenage years she lives in Athens. She studied accountancy, but her love for psychology and poetry won and she is devoted in these fields for many years. She worked in media until she had an early retirement due to lung cancer.
Her first contact with the literary circles was in 1985. She is a member of the National Union of Writers. She was distinguished in 2013 and 2014 at the poetry contests of NUW at Delphi, got the “Aeschylus Award” at the 4th international contest of the Hellenic Amphictionia. In the same year the 3rd award came from her participation at the “Siceliana” Competition and also the 2nd award from the contest of “Keleno” magazine. Her poems are published in many magazines. Her biggest achievement until now, is the second award at the 30th International Poetry Contest “Premio Nosside 2014” at Reggio Calabria, Italy.
She has published three books.
