Michael graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1994 with a BFA in illustration. As of 2010, he has been writing and drawing his comic, “Troy” for twelve years. The first “Troy” strip appeared in the June 1998 issue of “BENT Magazine” in Los Angeles and since then, “Troy” has been published in various gay magazines all over the world. He is currently developing “Troy” as an animated short film. His other work includes the seven part, animated, parody “The DiCaprio Code” for Movies.com, editorial and commercial illustration, and character design and animation for commercials, TV and the net. And just like his cartoon characters, he lives in West Hollywood where he is still searching for that mythical “gay community” he’s heard so much about.
